In addition to the Booger Hill Bee Company apiary we also have a number of small bee outyards located across the Georgia Peidmont. We pride ourselves in producing pure unprocessed, wild flower Georgia honey. Every aspect of our honey production is undertaken by hand with enormous care and attention to detail from the environment our bees live in to the bottle you purchase.
A decade ago I returned to school at the University of Georgia to work on a degree in horticulture. In the process, I took an elective ‘Bee Biology and Management’ and was bitten by the bug…figuratively and literally. In addition to the apiary and bee outyards, I also organized a comprehensive annual training program that gives the aspiring beekeeper the fundamentals needed to establish and maintain a colony of honey bees.
There is nothing as good as local unprocessed Georgia wild flower honey. It takes time to produce this honey, then when the time is right each summer the honey is harvested into bottles of rich gold. Unprocessed and pure, exactly the way honey might have been produced 5000 years ago, each bottle of honey is unique and special. For lovers of pure quality this honey cannot be beaten.
