Beekeeping Equipment For Bee Keeping

Equipment for Beekeeping

Starter Kits

Most beekeeping supply companies offer starter kits for beginning beekeepers. The idea is to offer everything needed, except bees, in one kit. Usually some of the kits’ components are the least expensive and lesser quality. Most suppliers will not allow you to make substitutions and still get a ‘kit’. Look at the catalogs, shop the web and compare. Buy what you believe will fit your needs best. If you have questions, please ask.

Because this can all be confusing to new beekeepers, we buy bulk equipment and then divide it into starter kits that are just right for our beginners  … basically we do the leg work for you!

Booger Hill Bee is selling a ‘starter kit’ to help new beekeepers and our students, so that they have an easy and positive early experience. We have chosen components that are reasonably priced and are of good quality
